Two students, E. Prashanth (twice) and B. Vinod Kumar, got qualified in prestigious
NET of UGC. Four students, Saba Fatima, Prashanth, Vinod Kumar and Sujitha, got
qualified in SET conducted by Osmania University. Research Programme for Ph. D. is
in the pipeline.
a. Research Journal
At the university level, Research Journals promote critical and innovative ideas of
teaching and learning. Satavahana Journal of English Studies (SJES) from the
Department is designed to meet these objectives. The maiden issue of SJES was
released in March 2019. It is being edited by Prof G. Damodar. SJES welcomes critical,
creative and innovative write-ups and full-length research articles. The poems in a
page, reviews in two pages and articles in about six to seven pages can be emailed to
satavahanajes@gmail.com
